‘Florida Noir’ Series

Florida Noir is my interpretation of Southern landscape, specifically concentrated in the state of Florida.  While my inspiration for this series originated from Clyde Butcher, my focus is less on its water systems and more on the intricate texture and dimension of a violent, barren, yet romantic Southern forests.

My exhibition was recently featured on March 2010 at the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, as I was chosen as a featured ‘Emerging Artist’.  350,000 people showed up to the event, and was an overwhelming sellout, and I’ll be showing it off again in other galleries and festivals soon.  Please join my mailing list to find out about my next exhibitions.
