Amelia Fishing Docks
Northeast Florida
SKU: 551
Photographic Story:
The “sea islands” of the Southeast United States starts in North Carolina and end in Amelia Island, Florida, a rustic beach town close to Jacksonville. Locals often visit these old docks to watch the sun set each day. Â This particular evening had an intense pink and orange light show through the unique cloud formations. Â While coastal South Florida has been ‘renovated’ over the years, I love how North Florida has still retained its Old Florida character and charm, especially here, created by a still thriving fishing and shrimping industry.
