Amelia Fishing Docks
Northeast Florida
SKU: 551
Photographic Story:
The “sea islands” of the Southeast United States starts in North Carolina and end in Amelia Island, Florida, a rustic beach town close to Jacksonville. Locals often visit these old docks to watch the sun set each day. This particular evening had an intense pink and orange light show through the unique cloud formations. While coastal South Florida has been ‘renovated’ over the years, I love how North Florida has still retained its Old Florida character and charm, especially here, created by a still thriving fishing and shrimping industry.
