Bahia Honda State Park Florida

Each year, I spend several weeks camping in the Florida Keys with a ruthless and exhausting pursuit of capturing the perfect photograph. One recent summer, I instead decided to go and relax, spending about half the time scuba diving and the other half fishing. And a little photography in-between. In a twist of fate, the few images I came back with some of the best I’ve every captured, including this fiery and glorious sunset over the Old Bahia Honda Bridge. There is a profound life lesson somewhere in this story that I’m still trying to figure out.
