The Jupiter Lighthouse sits at the junction of the Indian River, Loxahatchee River, and Jupiter Inlet, which for thousands of years has been a meeting place for Native American tribes. Today, it’s an icon that I can spot while boating, surfing, fishing, snorkeling, or dining out in the surrounding area. Having a beacon in your town adds a lot of character, which I appreciate after moving back to the coast in late 2017. I had been photographing the lighthouse at every angle, tide, and time of day all summer, but I especially liked this sunrise aerial perspective.
