Photographic Story:

After traveling on business to Charlotte, North Carolina, I trekked to the coast and camped near the beach in Hunting Island, South Carolina. I awoke early to a 15 degree morning, and set up my newly acquired Fuji GX617, a panoramic film camera made in the early 1980s. A beatiful fireball sunset emerged, which I exposed on Fuji Velvia slide film. After many years of only creating black and white images, this image inspired me to begin a new series of color panoramas.
