Key West Florida

Smathers Beach is an iconic half-mile stretch of sand and palm trees in Key West, America’s own legendary tropical island, the place where Ernest Hemingway went to relax and write some of the great novels of the 20th Century.  On a still, warm summer evening, I captured this panorama of my favorite entrance to the beach, complete with gentle pinks lighting up the water, sky, and sand.
